Our story

Lutece Fine Woodworking began in a one-car garage in the Windsor Park neighborhood of Austin, Texas, in April 2020. With minimal equipment but a deep passion for woodworking, we started creating custom pieces for local clients. As demand for our work quickly grew, we expanded into a two-car garage, upgrading our machinery and capacity to keep up with larger and more complex projects.
By Spring 2024, the business had outgrown its space again. A significant project—a 14-foot-high by 13-foot-wide gothic window—highlighted the need for a much larger studio. In response to this increasing demand and the complexity of our projects, we moved into a spacious 2,200 square-foot studio, where we now continue to craft exceptional custom woodwork with even more room for creativity.

Our studio

Our new 2,200 square feet studio is located in north Austin. This creative space is flooded with natural light and equipped with heavy duty machines including a 1920’s Crescent bandsaw which I fully restored.
This is where we bring your woodworking visions to life, from one of a kind furniture to custom architectural elements.
The additional space allows us to take on larger projects while maintaining our commitment to the highest quality and detail.
