Custom Work Agreement
By commissioning custom woodworking or design services, the Client agrees to the following:

- All projects will be outlined in a formal agreement, including design, materials, pricing, and completion timeframes.

- Once a design is approved, any requested changes may result in additional costs and an extension of the project timeline.

- A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent of the project cost is required before work begins. The remaining balance will be due upon completion.

Payment Terms

- Payments must be made as outlined in the invoice or agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in delays or suspension of work.

Project Timelines

- The Company will make every effort to complete projects within the agreed timeline. However, delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as material shortages or natural events, may occur. In such cases, the Client will be notified, and the timeline will be adjusted accordingly.

Materials and Craftsmanship

- All materials used are of high quality and sourced with care. The Company ensures that all products are crafted to the highest standards, using traditional and modern woodworking techniques.

- Due to the natural characteristics of wood, slight variations in color, grain, and finish may occur and are not considered defects.

Warranty and Repairs

- The Company offers a one year warranty on all custom woodwork against defects in craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or environmental factors (e.g., extreme humidity or temperature changes).

Returns and Cancellations

- Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final. Once a project has begun, it cannot be canceled without forfeiture of the deposit.

Intellectual Property

- All designs, sketches, plans, and concepts developed by Lutece Fine Woodworking, LLC remain the intellectual property of the Company. The Client may not reproduce, distribute, or use these designs for any purpose without written permission.

Liability and Indemnification
